General
General questions
Therapy is a professional, confidential space for deeper therapeutic processing, including EMDR where appropriate. Coaching is forward-focused: practical, reflective work around confidence, identity, direction, transitions and action. Where needs are primarily therapeutic rather than coaching-focused, this is discussed openly so the most appropriate support can be offered.
RECLAIM™ is Nicola’s signature trauma-informed personal development pathway for adults who experienced childhood trauma, neglect or abuse and want to understand how the past may still be shaping the present. The focus is not on repeatedly revisiting traumatic memories, but on making sense of survival patterns, building self-compassion and self-trust, reconnecting with identity, strengthening boundaries and intentionally creating a life in which you can thrive.
Adults who experienced childhood trauma, neglect, instability or abuse; people who appear capable or successful but carry low self-worth, shame or self-doubt; those who recognise people-pleasing, perfectionism, overachievement, fear of rejection or difficulty with boundaries; and people who want to understand themselves without being defined by what happened to them.
No. RECLAIM™ is trauma-informed but is not intended to replace individual psychotherapy or crisis support. Self-guided materials should not ask participants to undertake intensive trauma processing or detailed exposure to traumatic memories without appropriate clinical support.

Therapy questions
Childhood trauma, neglect and abuse; trauma and post-traumatic stress; anxiety, overwhelm and emotional triggers; low self-worth and shame; relationship and attachment difficulties; bereavement, loss and significant life events; workplace stress, burnout and high-pressure roles; identity, confidence and major life transitions.
A confidential, trauma-informed and person-centred space. Therapy is not about forcing you to relive your story — the pace and focus are shaped around safety, readiness and your individual needs.
Where deeper therapeutic processing is appropriate, EMDR may form part of the work. Suitability and pacing are always discussed with you first.

Resources
Resources questions
Adult trauma-informed workbooks, programmes and practical tools under RECLAIM™, and a clearly separated children’s emotional-wellbeing collection under Lemmy Lou & Friends.
Adult resources are for adults affected by childhood trauma, neglect or abuse who want to understand their patterns, reconnect with themselves and begin building a life beyond survival. Children’s resources are for young children and families, and can also be used by professionals supporting children.
The RECLAIM™ Workbook is self-guided, and the RECLAIM™ Guided Programme is structured with teaching and guided reflection. Self-guided materials should not be used to undertake intensive trauma processing without appropriate clinical support.
No. The children’s resources are educational and supportive rather than a substitute for individual therapeutic assessment or treatment.
Entries marked “client confirmation required” are intentionally left open: no policy, fee or process has been invented on Nicola’s behalf.
